Heading home one Thursday night, commuters found themselves in a world of hurt as they were involved in the worst case scenario as far as this is concerned (meaning there are worse things that happen, and while this is bad, Things are much worse in California).
This image is intended to document the nature of this snow storm.
I am just a guy. . . I may or may not have an eye for pictures. It's not really for me to decide, That's for you to do. . . I will take pictures of things others may see as mundane. Then I dig down into those images to see what is where. The tech does a lot of the work for me, I can't pretend. But the tech doesn't see what I see. . . Buddy of mine (this officially lets him off the hook for this) always tells the story of how when we would walk together as kids he would always be looking up and out and around, meanwhile, I would walk with my neck bent looking down at the ground. The clouds are indeed beautiful. But the world where you are has beauty as well. But you have to find it. . . I don't always live in...

I'm baaaack, because, I see here now what I think I missed first time.......so am thanking you, why? b/c, I'm seeing the light reflections a whole new way, today/yesterday,by pure luck when trying 'night' shots...and, all the while, it was this/yours that subliminally captured my imagination......hence my new 'experiments'... and thank you, Uther........VIVA

Wow, Uther what a powerful capture! It took me back to many times over many years that I drove through very inclement weather to get to my patients! Many blizzards I have driven through and I'm grateful my safety was guided! Beautiful capture!
Uther Pendraggin replied:
Laurie, Interestingly, if you go straight ahead for about a mile, there is the nearest hospital. I usually don't have to worry about the road because they tend to clear this road first, to keep the hospital available. This particular storm, however, hit right at rush hour and there was no way to clear the roads. Also, Thank you, Laurie Cairone, for your service and sacrifices that made more life possible. I never take that for granted. PLAU and Merry Ness, UPD

People see me, a nearly newly old man. beset with the burdens of a lifetime of what they may consider to have been bad decisions. They see a man who dances out loud, laughs uproariously and responds without a care in this realm. They don't know why. This is at least one reason why. I can wake up in the morning and see three people honor me with their attentions, intentions. How can I regret anything from the past if it resulted in this present? Heart felt thanks to You VIVA and You, Hans and You Kathy. PLAU UPD

Powerful imagery, Uther, powerful storm, kudos - it's a great capture of the surprises MN continues to remind us with, that, nothing can be taken for granted about the weather, or, in life itself, really. fv...VIVA
