Description
Jeffrey lives on a hill. The view from his backyard of the hills beyond the dell makes for beautiful scenes. At least for me. Home is home, right?
Those hills are the foothills of the Catskill mountains. Reputedly the oldest mountain range on Earth. Actually part of a range in Scotland. The mountains are older than North America itself.

We find rocks in Jeffrey's yard that have fossils in them. Shells mostly. "Where the heck did this come from?" It came from that mountain over there. Picked up by a glacier and dropped there, millions of years ago. At least that is my theory. .............. Keeping in mind that for that mountain to have fossils of sea creatures on it, it had to have once been below the surface of the sea! Take time to enjoy the amazing story of our MOTHER, Earth.
