Artist's Description
Further experimentation with the motion panorama feature.
A beautiful bright Hudson Valley late afternoon.
What is unique here is that this still photograph captures motion. This was what the Impressionists tried to do when the camera took away the business of still life and posed portraiture. The paint brush was less involved in that process and so the Avant-garde looked for where the camera couldn't.
Then came the moving pictures and all bets were off.
But here it is. Motion, captured in a still frame. Not a segment of motion frozen in time. Movement. Itself.
About Uther Pendraggin
I am just a guy. . . I may or may not have an eye for pictures. It's not really for me to decide, That's for you to do. . . I will take pictures of things others may see as mundane. Hi, It's me, UPD, I really like the way the stars appear as a result of the multiple exposures of the Motion Panorama! Put the high resolution on them. They are crisp and sharp not blurred by their motion. It's really a neat trick!

Very thoughtful, informative write-up, Uther..and the vision proves the point, beautifully, by the very extension of the flag in motion, captured, vs 'still'.....Kudos.....fv...VIVA
