Four 10 year olds frends clamber over the rocks
But Uther stands and shakes his lowered head as VIVA and Hans go on ahead higher and higher up the walls.
Laurie encourages Uther the only way she knows how to. The only way anybody ever encouraged her. With ridicule.
It worked. Uther let his anger drive him higher and he was the first to reach this pinnacle.

I am just a guy. . . I may or may not have an eye for pictures. It's not really for me to decide, That's for you to do. . . I will take pictures of things others may see as mundane. Then I dig down into those images to see what is where. The tech does a lot of the work for me, I can't pretend. But the tech doesn't see what I see. . . Buddy of mine (this officially lets him off the hook for this) always tells the story of how when we would walk together as kids he would always be looking up and out and around, meanwhile, I would walk with my neck bent looking down at the ground. The clouds are indeed beautiful. But the world where you are has beauty as well. But you have to find it. . . I don't always live in...

Love the adventure and of being 10, Uther. I do hope I was kind and encouraging to you in this story. True story: as cousins growing up on the beach, we often climbed rocks like these.shhhhhhh our parents thought we were walking to the lower rock area. We would come down the rock on our bottoms and our bathing suits became very worn down...hahahaha

Being 'second' sparks a lot of thought about one's competitive nature and whether one can handle it, especially after having made an hurcullean effort........maybe the 'position'/win doesn't matter.....in the end, it's 'how you play the game', they say........'course me and Hans know that! Laurie , too..........enjoying this ?series?..... fv.........VIVA
